ders BELGELİĞİ, operating within the body of Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Art Teacher Education, opened its doors to viewers with the 24th Belgelik Exhibition.
With the opening that took place on May 4, 2026, the production processes of the studio tradition were exhibited.
The total of 53 exhibitions held so far, 48 of which were domestic and 5 abroad, form a comprehensive archive documenting the development of art production. The 24th BELGELİK Exhibition also articulates into this accumulation, aiming to track contemporary productions and contribute to this continuity.
The exhibition, consisting of the works of the students and alumni of the ders BELGELİĞİ Studio under the management of Hüseyin Avni Öztopçu; makes the background of artistic production visible through works treated as a way of thinking, as well as original works.
Visitors do not only see the final state of the works, but they can also personally witness the thoughts of the students during the production stage and the process of a work from its first idea to its final touch.
On the opening day, former Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan, Department Chair Prof. Dr. F. Evren Daşdağ and the academicians of our department visited the exhibition and listened to the works personally from the students. This direct dialogue established about the production processes and artistic approaches of the students strengthened the academic and educational dimension of the exhibition.
The talk held with artist İnsel İnal and the participation of Zeytinburnu Fine Arts High School students transformed the educational dimension of the exhibition into a lively dialogue. Visitors found the opportunity to witness a collective production process by talking one-on-one with alumni and students on the works and studio culture.
